About "1474 – Call to arms!"

From Friday 14th to Sunday 16th of September 2012 two vanguards of German and Burgundian troops meet in some unimportant little borderland. The territory is huge and the two camps will be well out of sight of each other. This is not meant to be a theatrical show; the two "armies" will try to find, scout, skirmish and battle each other on their own account, so have some fun maneuvering for a weekend.
From Friday noon until the night from Saturday to Sunday we will be "in-game", which means that there are no arranged play-times, but you should expect some kind of action almost at any time.

Of course nobody forces you to stay within your camps all day, not being allowed to walk over to the other camp to get in contact with the "reenactors" there, but please don’t do so in full armor as you would be considered an enemy and when getting past a patrol or control-station don’t try to explain yourself, just say you’re "out-time" and get past them.
There will be no action on Sunday, as we want to give you the chance of getting to know each other and exchanging information or reenactment goods.

The event officially ends at 13 o’clock. Earlier than that we don’t want any cars on the field. If there are any groups from very far away (England, Sweden, Poland, or even further) we will try to find special arrangements, but please tell us in advance, so that we know what to expect. We recommend taking off Monday and making use of the possibility of staying one more night and travelling home relaxed and without any haste on Monday morning. Don’t underestimate the stress of two days of nonstop action. You might want to have a day just to relax and being able to go to sleep early.
As a reminder:
You may choose to set up camp on Thursday and stay until Monday. You can download the program here:
The program is only an approximate list which we will observe, as there is no program with fixed play times for any actions. The program will be updated (if necessary) to include any planned activities that need a certain date (such as an archery tournament for example).
